1018 West Custer Avenue,
Kevin is a fourth generation Montanan who was born and raised in Helena. After graduating from Eastern Montana College in Billings in 1984, he spent 17 years working for a Fortune 500 company consulting with and serving financial institutions throughout Montana, Northern Wyoming, and the Panhandle of Idaho.
In 2002, he changed careers and began working directly with families, individuals, and small businesses in addressing their insurance and risk management needs as an agent with a regional insurance company. This was a step toward the life-long goal of helping individuals with their overall financial planning and investing needs.
After two years in the personal financial services business, he had the realization that he could offer clients greater value as an “independent” advisor and joined a small, regional, independent broker-dealer in 2004 which was later purchased by a larger, national firm. With this change he had the flexibility to provide a broader assortment of investment products, insurance options, and independent advice. It enabled him to offer clients services that were based on “their needs” without regard to company quotas.
“Dunn Financial Solutions, LLC” was officially established in 2006. In January of 2020 they made a complete broker-dealer change to LPL Financial. As a result of this move the services and support available for the practice and for clients grew even broader. The move to LPL Financial strengthened the independence to develop strategies and offer options to clients using their broad selection of investment products, advisory platforms, and planning tools.
Throughout his career as a financial professional, Kevin has been committed to helping hundreds of Montanans in their quest for financial independence. “Advice with the heart of a teacher” was a principle adopted as a recommended investment provider by a nationally known spokesperson. It was not just a slogan; it has continued to be a commitment.
Perhaps the most important benefit Kevin offers clients is the opportunity to receive clear and easily understood explanations of financial products and services. The personalized programs provided are road maps to help clients work toward a more secure financial future.

Carl (Terry) White was raised in Northern New England (Maine, New Hampshire & Vermont). After graduating from Middlebury College, he spent eleven years racing for the U.S. Olympic Kayaking team and working in the off seasons as a Land Surveyor and Alpine ski racing coach.
In 1990 he entered the financial services world, where he spent 21 years as an “in-house” investment advisor serving clients of regional banks and credit unions in Vermont.
Terry was recruited to move to Helena, Montana in 2011 to help build an investment services program for a regional bank serving Western Montana.
In 2018 he made the decision to leave the corporate environment of financial services to join Dunn Financial Solutions, LLC. This change enabled him to offer a broader selection of solutions in order to serve clients with a clear focus on their own best interests.
Dunn Financial Solutions brought their clients to the LPL Financial Platform in early 2020. This change further improved Terry’s ability to offer independent solutions to his clients.
